Hedera (HBAR) Price Forecast 2025–2030

Hedera Price Prediction

Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) has been steadily gaining attention in the crypto market, especially after breaking into the top 20 digital assets by market capitalization in 2024. As of mid-2025, the token trades around $0.16, reflecting ongoing volatility but also promising signs of growth. With backing from major corporations like Google, IBM, and Chainlink Labs, as well as growing institutional interest and potential regulatory approvals like an HBAR ETF, many investors are optimistic about Hedera’s long-term prospects.

In early July 2025, HBAR was trading near an important resistance level around $0.19, boosted by a ceasefire announcement in late June that lifted market sentiment. If bullish momentum persists, HBAR could break above this resistance and test higher levels near $0.23 and $0.27 in the coming months. Achieving a daily close above $0.27 could pave the way for a retest of $0.40 later in 2025. Some optimistic forecasts even see HBAR reaching $0.75 by the end of the year if positive trends continue. However, traders should remain cautious, as failure to hold multi-month support levels or rejection near the 200-day exponential moving average (EMA) could trigger a downturn toward $0.072.

The first half of 2025 has been volatile for Hedera. After peaking near $0.40 in January, the token experienced a steady decline, impacted by external geopolitical tensions and waning investor enthusiasm. These challenges pushed HBAR into a falling wedge pattern that eventually broke in April, fueled by a wider crypto market rally. The price rebounded sharply, rising nearly 80% from $0.125 to $0.228 by mid-May. But renewed global uncertainties caused the price to slip back to its April lows, consolidating within a parallel declining wedge. Despite this price back-and-forth, key support zones have held strong, suggesting that buyers remain interested at these levels.

Beyond price action, Hedera’s ecosystem developments paint a positive picture. In 2025, the project introduced its first native hardware wallet called Citadel and launched an AI-driven tool named the Hedera Agent Kit to simplify token creation on the network. Another notable upcoming initiative is HashSphere, scheduled for release in Q3 2025, which aims to deliver a private, regulated blockchain designed for stablecoin payments and asset management. Additionally, the platform underwent rebranding efforts in May 2025 to reflect growing maturity: the HBAR Foundation became the Hedera Foundation, and the Governing Council was renamed the Hedera Council. These changes position Hedera as a more institutional-friendly platform, potentially attracting further interest from enterprises and investors.

Looking further ahead, price forecasts for HBAR suggest steady growth over the next several years. By 2026, analysts expect the token to trade between $0.45 and $1.05, averaging around $0.80. The upward trend is predicted to continue into 2027, with a potential high of $1.20 and an average near $0.95. Moderate but consistent gains are anticipated through 2028 and 2029, with prices possibly surpassing $1.50 by 2029. By 2030, many forecasts place HBAR within the $0.95 to $2.20 range, indicating solid long-term appreciation driven by adoption and network expansion.

Multiple market analysis firms support these optimistic projections. Changelly expects HBAR to reach around $0.26 by 2025, rising to $0.37 in 2026 and hitting $1.74 by 2030. PricePrediction.net and DigitalCoinPrice also offer comparable forecasts, with long-term targets near or above the $1 mark. Coinpedia’s forecast aligns with these views, projecting a steady recovery and a potential average price of $0.60 by the end of 2025, with highs reaching $0.80.

Despite current macroeconomic headwinds and the inherent volatility in cryptocurrency markets, Hedera’s internal progress and strategic partnerships provide a foundation for sustainable growth. The combination of technological innovation, increased institutional adoption, and favorable regulatory developments could all serve as catalysts for higher valuations in the years ahead. Nevertheless, investors should monitor key technical levels and broader market conditions closely, as short-term pullbacks remain possible.

In summary, while HBAR currently trades below $0.20, several bullish indicators suggest the potential for a significant rebound in 2025, with a possible rise to $0.75 by year-end if momentum holds. Beyond 2025, longer-term price targets ranging from $1 to over $2 by 2030 reflect growing confidence in Hedera’s future as a scalable, enterprise-focused blockchain platform. For those considering an investment, keeping an eye on technical resistance points, ecosystem developments, and market trends will be essential for navigating the path ahead.
