Hedera Price Forecast 2025–2030: HBAR Targets $2.20 Long-Term

Hedera Price Prediction

Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR), the native token of the Hedera network, has been gaining traction in the cryptocurrency market due to its unique consensus mechanism, strong enterprise partnerships, and growing ecosystem. As of early July 2025, HBAR is trading at approximately $0.153, reflecting a moderate decline in recent days. Despite the short-term volatility, market analysts and crypto enthusiasts are increasingly optimistic about its long-term potential, especially with speculation around a possible ETF approval and expanding real-world utility.

The first half of 2025 saw mixed performance for HBAR. The token peaked at $0.40 in January following optimism around macroeconomic recovery and bullish sentiment across the crypto market. However, it soon entered a downward trajectory, falling to a low of $0.125 in early April. This decline was attributed to geopolitical tensions and a drop in investor engagement, as seen in declining Total Value Locked (TVL) across DeFi platforms. Technically, HBAR formed a falling wedge pattern, which eventually signaled a bullish reversal when the token bounced from strong historical support in mid-April.

From that support level, HBAR rallied nearly 80%, surging to $0.228 by mid-May. But the momentum didn’t last. Renewed global tensions and profit-taking led to a correction, with the price sliding back toward $0.125. This movement established a parallel descending channel, which continues to shape HBAR’s near-term trading range. However, late June brought renewed optimism, with a ceasefire statement providing a brief market uplift. HBAR responded by climbing closer to the $0.191 resistance level.

Looking at the rest of 2025, if HBAR can break and close above key resistance levels such as $0.23 and $0.27, the token may regain its bullish structure. A sustained rally could even see it retesting the $0.40 level and possibly pushing toward $0.75 by year-end. This optimistic scenario hinges on broader market recovery, increased developer adoption, and institutional inflows. On the downside, rejection at these resistance levels and a breakdown below the multi-month support could drag the token toward $0.072.

Importantly, Hedera’s internal ecosystem is showing signs of maturity and innovation. In 2025, the project introduced “Citadel,” its first native hardware wallet, and introduced the “Hedera Agent Kit,” an AI-powered tool to streamline token creation and development. Additionally, the upcoming “HashSphere” initiative, expected to introduce in Q3, aims to deliver a regulated blockchain solution for stablecoin-based payments and asset management. These developments highlight Hedera’s ambition to strengthen its enterprise-focused infrastructure.

Another significant milestone was the project’s rebranding effort in May 2025. The HBAR Foundation is now called the “Hedera Foundation,” and the governing body has been renamed the “Hedera Council.” These changes reflect a commitment to long-term governance and a more transparent organizational structure, which could attract institutional interest and further legitimize the project.

Looking further ahead, price projections from analysts and platforms indicate steady growth for HBAR. For 2026, price estimates range between $0.45 and $1.05, with an average of $0.80. By 2027, analysts expect the token to reach a high of $1.20, with a base scenario of $0.95. Continued development and market adoption could push prices higher in 2028 and 2029, with high-end forecasts reaching $1.40 and $1.60, respectively.

By 2030, HBAR’s price could reach as high as $2.20 if macroeconomic trends, adoption, and enterprise use cases align favorably. Conservative estimates still place the token around $1.70, reflecting confidence in its long-term growth. External projections from sites like DigitalCoinPrice, CoinCodex, and Changelly support a moderately bullish outlook, with targets ranging from $1.07 to $1.99 by 2030.

In conclusion, Hedera’s outlook for 2025 to 2030 is promising but not without risk. The token’s price will be influenced by macroeconomic conditions, crypto regulations, technical breakouts, and the project’s ability to attract developers and institutions. If Hedera continues its development pace and secures greater adoption, HBAR may well climb toward or beyond the $1 mark in the coming years—potentially fulfilling bullish projections of $2.20 by 2030.
