Who is neglected from air drop?  The Ukraine government said it will airdrop tokens to encourage more crypto donations. Over $50 million has now been raised in multiple cryptocurrencies, but Justin Sun has controversially stated that it is “unfair” for TRON donors to be excluded from an airdrop. Due to the negligence, TRON donors won’t get Airdrop.

However, following all the frustration Mykhailo Fedrov expressed:  After careful consideration we decided to cancel airdrop. Every day there are more and more people willing to help Ukraine to fight back the aggression. Instead, we will announce NFTs to support Ukrainian Armed Forces soon. We DO NOT HAVE any plans to issue any fungible tokens

So, what happened before? What was the reason for Sun’s Frustration?

For clarity, Airdrop is a reward: An airdrop that will “reward” contributors, with a snapshot of donors expected to go live later in the day. now on. Many of them used small amounts of Ether – as little as $0.30 – which has sparked speculation that wallets may only be eligible for the airdrop if their donations exceed beyond a specific threshold.

Although critics have complained about the increase in activity as a sign that some crypto users are simply interested in the rewards being offered – rather than actually helping those in need – The airdrop is definitely a powerful incentive tool that will eventually allow the country to raise more money.

Justin Sun has been criticized after claiming that TRON users had donated $1.2 million in USDT “but now the airdrop just ignores them completely.” He continued: “It is just “UNFAIR” and “UNFAIR! . We need to fix it!”

The tweets were condemned for being rude and out of touch – and he was told people should donate because it’s a good cause, not because they expect something in return.

Dogecoin now stands for Ukraine

Ukraine has announced that they are now accepting Dogecoin donations.

The country’s deputy prime minister, Mykhalio Fedorov, said the memecoin has the potential to “support our army and save the lives of Russian invaders”.

According to this article on Thursday morning, the official Ukrainian DOGE wallet has received $68,447 in donations – a modest number compared to the millions of dollars that have been raised through other cryptocurrencies. The data shows that over $50 million has now been raised across all cryptocurrencies.

Donation levels according to various crypto currencies:

Figures released by blockchain intelligence firm Elliptic show that more than 72,000 donations have been made to date.

Donations aren’t just made in crypto either, as a CryptoPunk NFT worth around $200,000 was recently sent to an Ethereum wallet owned by the Ukrainian government.

CryptoPunk #5364 wears sunglasses, smokes, and wears a blue bandana.

A breakdown shows that,

  • 3% of donations are made in Bitcoin,
  • 28% are made in Ether,
  • 23% in DOT, and
  • 16% in Stable coins.

UkraineDAO – a decentralized autonomous organization backed by Russian protest group Pussy Riot – has also raised 2,167 ETH, worth $6.3 million at press time. A one-of-a-kind NFT of the Ukrainian flag was auctioned off to the highest bidder, with 100% of the proceeds going to help Ukrainian civilians.
