Gavin wood shared: New ecosystem developer analysis by Electric Capital shows Polkadot literally in a class of its own with clearly the strongest developer growth since launch of any Web3 protocol and by far the biggest dev community outside of Ethereum.

COMMUNITY RESPONSE:  Where’s the best list of all projects being built on top of Polkadot?

DOT is the coin I never think about selling. I Hold it like BTC.

Staking Issues:  The DOT ecosystem is not user friendly enough and honestly some staking and slashing rules are terrifying for normal users.  The 120 minimum being staked is also not a fair thing.  Some things need to be rethought.

About Tool boxes:  Polkadot toolboxes are apparently very developer-friendly.

Are those developers also releasing something anyone actually wants though? Seems like a ghost ecosystem from all, but that (most likely vested) fund’s report.

About Project:  I can’t think of any useful project yet, but I expect that a few good ideas will emerge from this and the different architecture (ie: domain-specific blockchains). I don’t expect to see them in 2022 though, but could be wrong.

Praising the CEO: We are proud that our CEO is involved in this way, it is very important for the community, thank you and keep going so that we from our places are not going to fail.

Query:  What are the top 5 web3 protocols on DOT? Active or bidding for a slot.  Sorry for them devs, wasting their time on not important blockchain, and return those funds you got from the EF for building parity failing client no one use anymore.

Parachain Opinion:  Look at the quality and value of your parachains, then everything is said. It also comes down to adoption and user friendliness – and that’s crap with DOT/KSM ecosystem.

About Projects and Protocols:  Dots first auction just concluded.  Acala and Moonbeam will ship soon along with Astar etc. Karura and Moonriver work well for me on KSM. And the criticism of .js is overblown. It’s a very powerful tool, spanning a huge number of chains.

Damn just 100 devs on BSC cranking out 1000s of projects. Lol

Projects:  EWT ENERGYWEBX has the most development activity in Polkadot eco-system.

I’m inspired by the project and the vision. I’ve been working on becoming a developer for the past few months. Once I make the career change official, I’ll be looking to go back to University for computer science. I see how GAVOFYORK is changing the world with computers, and I want to help!

Attitude:  I like the DOT project focused on security and interoperability between different platforms. We’ll see what the blockchain holds for the future.

Wish:  We need another hackathon and coin burning. Inflation in DOT is too high!

Regret:  And still shipping absolutely nothing that other people already do.

Reason to Stay:  I came for the Parachain/Parathread. I stayed for Developer friendly Ecosystem.

I lost $ investing in DOT, I don’t care what people say, I wait for my money to come back.
