Paolo Ardoino in response to a statement: Bitcoin to $1,000,000 is inevitable, stated, “Too Many Bears.”
A few other Paolo statements: There are whales and then Finex Whales. Those are some impressive mammals.
Gabor Gurbacs in appreciation stated: Tether market cap/all assets outstanding reached $63 billion. It was unexpected by most major financial institutions that a stablecoin could be so successful. Tether assets are closing in on $63 billion. I was right. Old Wall Street was wrong. Once again.
These 2 were pretty common narratives on Wall Street: 1. Stablecoins can’t grow and will fail due to regulation. 2. Large bank money alternatives will make Tether impossible.

In response to Paolo stating: STO – While I hear many talking about STOs, I feel most don’t realize the actual broadness of the opportunities that can be achieved.
Gabor Gurbacs expressed, Yes, I expect the STO megatrend to start meaningfully. Crypto exchanges will start trading tokenized stocks and offer various investments to their clientele that is young and tech savvy. Tokenized t-0 settlement is faster and better than the current stock settlement system.
For clarity, STO refers to Security Token Offerings which is a type of public offering in which tokenized digital securities, known as security tokens, are sold in cryptocurrency exchanges, or security token exchanges. Tokens can be used to trade real financial assets such as equities and fixed income, and use a blockchain virtual ledger system to store and validate token transactions.
The settlement token is the center of a settlement. The abbreviations T+1, T+2, and T+3 refer to the settlement dates of security transactions, which occur on a transaction date plus one day, plus two days, and plus three days, respectively.
If you buy (or sell) a security with a T+2 settlement on Monday, and we assume there are no holidays during the week, the settlement date will be Wednesday, not Tuesday. The ‘T’ or transaction date is counted as a separate day.
Knowing the settlement date of a stock is also important for investors or strategic traders who are interested in dividend-paying companies because the settlement date can determine, which party receives the dividend.
Tether Criticism: If by “successful” you mean the BIGGEST PONZI SCHEME IN HISTORY then yeah, they sure have done well for themselves.
