Play to Earn blockchain games where you can earn crypto while gaming also known as NFT gaming is catching up like wild fire. There to too many names out there offering P2E. So, how to go about it?

First comes first, when you venture out to the P2E world you will come across Names of the ecosystem offering these games, which is a long list of them.  And, then when you enter each ecosystem, you still have lot of names for the individual games. And, in each game you get to earn gaming tokens and these tokens also tend to have a unique name. Just to say there are lot of details to get used to in the world of P2E gaming.

The P2E gaming model makes it possible to earn cryptocurrency or NFTs just for playing the game.  This is interesting because the players will be playing the game truly for free. However, those who play well have real money in P2E Gaming.

However, just like governments are apprehensive about the influence of cryptocurrencies, they are now apprehensive about these games as well.

“The South Korean government has moved to block the release of new play-to-earn (P2E) games and requested Google and Apple to remove existing games from their respective app stores.”

This is because to play the game and get the in-game rewards, gamers should first of all buy game pieces as non-fungible tokens. In South Korea, gaming rewards more than few dollars are prohibited.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s Game Management Committee (GMC) demanded Wednesday that major mobile app markets restrict any games that require in-app purchases to play.

The government views it as a kind of speculative money-making scheme. Those who make P2E games get their games listed in the very popular mobile app shops.  Thus, the attempt of the government to bring down the increase in the numbers of P2E games has been enforced by preventing them from getting listed in the google searches in South Korea.

Game producers in South Korea have fought in the court to ensure their games are made available in the domestic app store. There have also been issues where some apps were not able to get the required age rating for the inclusion of the gaming apps in the mobile shops.

In South Korea, gaming prizes are not to be over 10,000 KRW ($8.42) at a time.

There is also the inherent danger of young minds willing to Play to Earn than Work to Earn.
