Polkadot (DOT) Interoperability Cross-Chain Communication Independent Governance

Polkadot DOT

Polkadot is an unstoppable beast of a project and the community are very positive about it.  It looks like it is going to be hard parting with any of their DOT before it’s worth $1k.

Some of the users who have already invested in Polkadot have to state that it is not just a cryptocurrency, it’s the future foundation for building scalable applications on blockchain.  Further, they have to state when investing never treat it just as a crypto, it’s much bigger than that. It should be treated more like an IaaS.

Polkadot is evolving as an alternative to Ethereum.  And, Interoperability will be unlocking powerful and varied use cases.

Since, Polkadot is a sharded multichain network that processes different transactions in several parallel blockchains, it processes several transactions in parallel, and therefore facilitates scalability.

Every blockchain in Polkadot is optimized to provide for a particular use case, and therefore there are no unnecessary coding. Thus, the efficiency and security is improved and teams will be able to develop and customize the blockchain faster than ever before.

Interoperability and cross-chain communication is the strength of the network as most of the blockchains operate as standalone.

Every blockchain can organize their governance as a whole and teams will be able to customize and optimize the governance to their needs.

It is important for blockchains and software to upgrade and stay relevant to improve over time.  The good thing about Polkadot is that they create forkless upgrades, thus making it possible for easy upgrades as and when needed, thus staying relevant with time.

With all these benefits, the core features open a world of possibility eventually putting people in control of their own digital lives.

Polkadot facilitates blockchains for a range of applications consisting of finance, gaming, digital identity, IoT, supply chain management, social networking and cloud technologies.

Web3 Foundation, supports several Polkadot teams with grants and funding of projects at all levels of the web3 technology stack, ranging from low-level infrastructure to ecosystem components like wallets, parachains, bridges and tooling.

Polkadot has evolved to be a project that is discussed at par with Ethereum and users who are bullish about ETH are giving a cautious and thoughtful look at Polkadot. Many of them claim that Polkadot is an Ethereum Killer. We do not know how far this is true, but it is very obvious that DOT has all the right moves. And, many sincerely believe that Polkadot is in a prime position to take over the altcoin space occupied by Ethereum.
