Non-fungible tokens

Non-fungible tokens or NFTs have really taken the world by storm. Whether it’s an artist, a celebrity or even a sports person, no one can escape the NFT craze. Unique digital assets in the form of images, sounds, GIFs, 3D models, videos, and more launched, bought and sold on various NFT platforms.

BAYC – The Bored Ape Yacht Club, also known as BAYC is a non-fungible token (NFT) ape avatar collection platform that contains 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs. These represent unique digital collections built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. Each Bored Ape also grants the owner a membership in the club and provides access to a number of perks exclusive to a select few. Celebrities who own BAYC NFT include Jimmy Fallon, DJ Khaled and YouTuber Logan Paul.

MAYC – Abbreviated as MAYC, the Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFT is a collection of 20,000 mutant monkeys. Since these NFTs could not be obtained normally, the NFT bored monkey had to be exposed to a vial of mutant serum. It was launched on August 28, 2021 and took the NFT world by storm. It is arguably one of the most dominant NFT collectibles available in the Metaverse.

Punks – Also known as CryptoPunks, these are 24×24 pixel art images, algorithmically generated. The NFT Collection contains 10,000 unique collectibles, mostly amusing-looking boys and girls. However, there are some mixed types like monkeys. Celebrities like Serena Williams, JayZ and Snoop Dogg own this NFT.

Azuki – Azuki is a collection of 10,000 avatars that give members access to “The Garden”. It launched in January 2022 and started with exclusive streetwear collaborations, NFT sales, live events, and more that gradually unfolded over time. Profile pictures unlock member-exclusive benefits and perks. Reportedly, NFT sold out within minutes of its launch and generated over $300 million in sales in its first month.

WonderPals – Launched on February 26, 2022, WonderPals is an insanely cute 10,000 NFT collection on the Ethereum blockchain that aims to spread joy, creativity, and happiness.  NFTs are created from a combination of 200 traits with varying rarity depending on the species. NFT is available with a mint price of 0.08 ETH

Clone X – Created by RTFKT in collaboration with Daz 3D, this is a collection of 20,000 3D NFT avatars, each with its own set of characteristics. The Clone X roadmap revolves around using its clones across worlds and realities. Collectors can use each avatar for videos, games, social networks, and other super reverse content.

Doodles – These are digitized versions of illustrator Burnt Toast’s artwork. It’s a “community collectible” NFT project, with almost 10,000 Doodles available for purchase. Launching October 2021, Doodles are hand-drawn images ranging from monkeys and mascots to cats and aliens, with different color palettes.
