Ripple (XRP) have been transforming international payments in a great way. This has been possible because, they have been taking great care in the learning and development of their employees. They have been doing all it takes to support their employees. Ripple considers April to be development month.
Ripple give their employees an Individual Development Plan (IDP). Every Rippler in this process will receive a ‘Design Your Path’ workbook, which they can use to assess where they are now and to further identify where they are interested in focusing their efforts for the year to come up with a certain action plan.
They also provide a 1:1 career coaching for employees who are willing to work with a certified coach as they are drafting their IDP.
The sooner the plan is ready, Ripplers will be able to take advantage of extra learning experiences throughout the year in a way to optimize their impact following their development plan. The following are Ripple’s development plans as published by Ripple Insights:
“Global Leader Summit – This event brings together Ripple’s leadership staff from around the world for conversations about the future of payments, how to better serve our customers, and how our personal identities shape us as leaders.
The Empathy Series – With empathy being an essential skill for all roles, we’ve created a three-part series to foster stronger working relationships across the organization, even when separated by distance.
Engineering Boot Camp – We hire many engineers who are new to payments and blockchain, so we often hear that engineering at Ripple is different. Engineering Boot Camp gets our engineers familiar with the unique challenges they’ll be solving in their new roles.
Learn from Industry Experts – Throughout the year, we host several classes taught by leading technologists and internal rising stars in a variety of fields from blockchain and digital assets to finance, government relations, and more.
Working Globally – By nature, our business is global. Collaborating well across borders and learning from colleagues working in different countries around the world helps us become better global citizens.”
Ripple are in to lot of development plans to accelerate financial inclusion. They are continuing to improve the skills required to engineer transformative global payment solutions. They are doing all it takes to integrate payment apps with Ripple’s open source developer platform. They are crossing all regulatory interference and growing well beyond uncertainties in a way enabling the world to move value like they are moving information.
