On Monday, Behance, Adobe’s creative showcase platform, announced the addition of a new feature that will allow users to profit from their ideas. As a result of this innovation, users will be able to link their Behance accounts to their Phantom wallets and display their SOL NFTs (nonfungible tokens) on their account profiles.
The Phantom Wallet: For DeFi (decentralised finance) applications and NFTs, the Phantom Wallet is a popular Solana-based wallet. Then, in collaboration with Adobe, QuickNode, a Miami-based Web3 infrastructure platform, assisted in the development and design of this functionality on the Solana blockchain.
Behance designers and producers can use this functionality to promote their NFTs built on Ethereum’s blockchain on their profiles. The breakthrough was commented on by William Allen, Adobe’s Vice President of Behance.
William Allen’s tweet: However, he remarked on Twitter that most Behance users may be hesitant to adopt Ethereum due to the cryptocurrency’s exorbitant transaction (gas) fees and high-power usage.
He noticed that digital producers may now easily connect their Phantom wallets to their Behance profiles and display their SOL NFTS.
He said that the Solana blockchain is a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain that addresses Ethereum’s flaws, such as high gas pricing and high energy consumption. Solana, on the other hand, uses very little power and is quite inexpensive. As a result, it’s both high-end and quite affordable.
Commentary from Phantom Wallet on the Collaboration: The Phantom’s creative team responded to the request for collaboration. According to the site, this link is “important” for Solana’s creative economy because it provides artists with a low-cost and ecologically friendly means to test with NFTs.
Behance launch: In October of last year, Behance made its first try, allowing artists to link their Phantom wallet and nonfungible tokens to their Behance profile. OpenSea, Rarible, KnownOrigin, and even SuperRare NFT markets had previously worked with Adobe. This was done as part of the corporation’s CAI (Content Authenticity Initiative) to protect digital writers and designers by presenting provenance data.
William’s Reaffirmation: On Twitter, William Allen reaffirmed that the company will add Solana Address to its Content Credentials tool, which will be in Photoshop and will prevent NFT art pieces from being stolen. As a result, the proper acknowledgement is given.
Adobe can rent Solana Access through QuickNode: QuickNode, the Web3 behemoth, has allowed Adobe to rent access to Solana’s mainnet rather than construct and manage its own node. According to QuickNode’s official website, the company is the leading Solana node provider. QuickNode is responsible for more than half of the Solana network’s uptime.
