The Solana Season Hackathon was the ecosystem’s biggest yet! Over 13,000 of you participated in the hackathon, producing 350+ project submissions from teams around the globe.
The hackathon brought together developers, designers, and business operators from around the world to move DeFi, Web3, and NFT ecosystems forward by leveraging Solana’s speed, low fees, and scalability.
A total of 39 standout projects were selected by judges to receive a prize. 39 additional projects also showed tremendous potential and earned the Honorable Mention of our judges.
Awarded the Grand Prize is Zeta Markets, an under-collateralized DeFi options platform. Zeta will receive $30k + $1,500 airfare stipend + 2 tickets to a special Solana event in Lisbon in November.
First place in the DeFi Track goes to Solendprotoco , an algorithmic, decentralized protocol for lending and borrowing solend.fi.
Second place in the defi Track goes to DefiLand, a multi-chain agriculture-simulation web-game created to gamify DeFi.
Third place in the DeFi Track goes to Switch Board, a decentralized, community curated oracle network on Solana.
First place in the NFT Track goes to coralreef.art, an NFT marketplace with the ability to fractionalize.
Second place in the NFT Track goes to All Art Protocol which provides constant liquidity for NFTs through liquidity pool AMMs, while upgrading the current NFT standard with improved functionalities and embedded license rights called NFT-PRO.
Third place in the NFT Track goes to bublhost, a Decentralized event hosting and ticketing protocol nikkowalow.github.io.
First place in the Web3 Track goes to solariume2e, a fully decentralised, end-to-end encrypted, censorship-resistant instant messenger, solarium.chat.
Second place in the Web3 Track goes to solanagrape, a protocol for building token-gated discord communities using SPL tokens.
Third place in the Web3 Track goes to Team Wumbo, a platform that brings Creator Coins directly to the social networks where creators interact with their fans.
The Community Choice Award prize goes to boringprotocol, a decentralized VPN built on Solana.
Solana partnered with regional partners on prizes across Eastern Europe, East Asia, Latin America, India, Africa, and Vietnam.
The team of judges spent days reviewing 350 submissions, and the partners and sponsors together they made the hackathon possible.
