Stellar Lumens (XLM) Building Great Tools for Common Causes Might be Great Year for Network

Stellar Lumens have been doing a great job lately, coordinating a great group of people.  They are taking the time to dig deep to capitalize and magnify the capabilities of the community. They are motivated than ever before to support the community. It gets expected that in 2020 it will be an excellent year for the network as they are building great tools.

They have set a clear mandate to follow, and they are well aware of how it is essential to reprogram the way money moves.

Stellar Tweeted:  “Are stablecoins and synthetic fiat like USDC or USDT transitionary assets on the road to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency, or are they here to stay as important products?”

Denelle Dixon tweeted:  “Here’s to a more just, more generous, and more democratic America.”

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert, tweeted:  “Stellar Lumens (XLM) Foundation and the Community have been making a great difference by their recent partnerships on the network, this leaving a positive impact in the world supporting common causes.”

Tyler Van Der Hoeven recently stated that behind all the simplicity and functionality of Stellar there is a complex and intricate C++ program.  Much of the detail has been explained in the podcast with Jon Jove concerning the task of building and maintaining such a system.

Stellar Lumens XLM Glimpse into Overall Activity Level

The cryptocurrency of rapper Akon is in the beta phase, and it is likely to have its first use case in Africa.  Akoin got based on the Stellar blockchain, and it is set to be used in the Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC) based in Kenya.

The Stellar ecosystem recently discussed a new proposed standard for making payments on the Stellar.  The quarterly report from the Stellar Lumens Foundation has shown continued growth of the network.  The average transaction time gets reported at 5.5 seconds.

Stellar has been recently targeting TOR and five other non-profits for the XLM donation matching campaign.  The TOR project gets nearly 20% of its individual donations through cryptocurrency, and Stellar will be matching XLM donations for nearly six non-profits throughout April.  Of note, the Tor Browser is a web browser that is designed to safeguard the anonymity of its users.

Sarah Stevenson, Fundraising Director for TOR, tweeted:  “Thanks again to @StellarOrg for sponsoring this match to @torproject ! We are seeing a boost in donations via other cryptocurrencies as well! Currently, cryptocurrency donations make up 20% of our contributions from individuals. You rock!”

Stellar has been developing important technical partnerships over the last quarter, and they have been committed to several activities focusing on fighting the coronavirus.
