For those who missed Meridian 2020, there is a full play list of sessions and events available as Virtual Meridian 2020.

It is well known that the vision for the Stellar network is to facilitate equitable access to the global financial infrastructure. They are continuing to focus on making this goal a reality.  They are creating global connections which solve the real world challenges of today.

Meridian 2020 was focused on bringing together engaging speakers and content from within and beyond the Stellar community, thus exploring topics such as interoperability, liquidity, policy, and more. Anyone who is interested in the developments taking in the blockchain world will want to check in to these full play list of events.

The play list covers for a range of events like scaling remittances on Stellar, financial mobility and inclusion in Asia:  The Lightening-Interstellar Partnership; Security and compliance features for confidential blockchains; Stellar Engineering Technical Roadmap; Stellar for Gaming; and Going Global with Stellar Global and Public Node and a range of several other interesting topics worth the Binge for blockchain lovers who like to understand real-time solutions for real-time problems.

Meanwhile, the second Stellar Workshop of the Encode Hack the System hackathon is up, covering for How to build a Stellar Wallet.

This workshop provided for a technical deep-dive into Stellar as part of the Hack the System hackathon. It was led by the Stellar Development Foundation.

Developers of all skill levels were a part of learning how to get started building applications on Stellar. Tyler van der Hoeven, SDF’s Ecosystem Evangelist, walked the users through the Stellar Build Apps tutorial and shared some tips and tricks, which made it easy to build award-winning projects on Stellar.

For clarity, Hack the System is the world’s biggest university blockchain hackathon. It is the 5th hackathon of Stellar to-date.  It is open to any student, researcher, alumnus or hacker worldwide.

The hacking is set to begin on March 29, 2021.  The learning is already progressing.  The event runs for 10 weeks, online.  The good thing is that these hacks are longer than normal to permit more time to learn and build.  Also, the hacks are completely virtual with most of the events taking place through a video call.

Winners get rewarded by some of the best prizes available and this can be anything from cash to work experiences.  And, the good thing is that it will be open to students and hackers from across the globe.
