WooCommerce plugin “Easy Dogecoin Gateway” Developed by Inevitable360

Doge Designer reported, “Over 455 Million WordPress Websites can now accept DogeCoin using the WooCommerce plugin “Easy Dogecoin Gateway” developed by inevitable360.  The free plugin is now available for download on the official WordPress directory.”

The plugin makes it possible for WordPress websites to accept Dogecoin payments simply by making use of Dogecoin addresses without the requirement for any third-party payment processors, banks or additional fees.

The plugin makes use of the Google API to generate QR codes and the CoinGecko API to convert fiat into Dogecoin’s current price.

This is looked at as a positive point for Dogecoin adoption as WordPress is being used by over 455 million websites as of 2021, and the numbers of users is only increasing.

Noteworthy, Elon Musk recently stated that Dogecoin will gain more utility if more of businesses accepted it.  He has been talking about tipping as a use case.  So, Tipping creators with Dogecoin according to him will be great.

Some investors think they need to get rid of the meme image:  I think the dog in the doge symbol should be removed to make it more attractive to new investors and can get rid of the meme image on the doge so that the doge can be a world payout beating the dollar

Counter opinion to remove Doge Image:  Trying to apply functionality to Doge is laughable. Blockchain is not a magic word. It’s good for one thing, an immutable ledger of transactions. Anything else can be done 100 times cheaper and faster with already existing database languages.
