You can’t successfully ban Monero (XMR). Period. Community Confidence.

Monero XMR

The Monero Community are like:  And banning Monero violates the human right to privacy.  My first love = Monero. More eyes are on Monero. Monero means money. Sound, fungible, untraceable, unalienable money. No Privacy.  No Human Being.

Monero has such a bright long-term future but its short term path is littered with obstacles. One of the most important ways we can deduce what has been happening in Monero is to look at the (thankfully, sparse) blockchain data available publicly.

‘Privacy is necessary for an open society in the electronic age. Privacy is not secrecy. Privacy is the power to selectively reveal oneself to the world.’ Monero – designed to keep your finances confidential by default, whilst allowing selective transparency through view keys.

Monero – a system designed to keep your finances secure and confidential, by default and consistent with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU).

When someone tried to reinstate the importance of privacy by stating:  ever tried to connect to tor network or using internet in china? They can make it hard enough.

Haven’t been to China and don’t have the intention to. But you’re right. We can see subtle signs of growing Chinese surveillance throughout the Occidental world. And the (real) risk is that it’ll continue in that direction.

The Monero community remains united in building money that is private, sound, and decentralized despite coming from drastically different political ideologies, ethnic backgrounds, languages, etc. It’s amazing to see how a common purpose unites such unique groups of people.

Do you mean use-cases, places to spend it, etc? Indeed.  One of the best use cases out there. I keep stacking more and more XMR.

Obviously Monero cannot protect funds held by a custodian, by definition. Don’t use CEXs. “Not your keys, not your coins” applies to all cryptocurrencies. But when you hold the keys Monero is extremely secure, decentralized, and censorship-resistant.

I really dislike a lot of the public personalities associated with Monero, but I still support the currency 100%. Useful technology doesn’t require a cult.

Disliking so much of the culture associated with Monero and still thinking “this one is the best” helped convince myself that it wasn’t confirmation bias.

Queries:  I kind of having difficulty in finding a reliable Crypto Platform to buy Monero. Any suggestion?

Critics and So-Called Competitors: You can make it non-fungible by banning regulated exchanges with fiat ramps from trading it. It will then be surpassed by regulatory compliant, easier to use solutions on Ethereum.
