There is a large silent majority of BTC OGs who don’t subscribe to the maxi cult, but still see a strong care for Bitcoin as a maximally decentralized SoV. Deeper thinkers have a lingering skepticism of the sustainability of decentralization SC chains. Maybe this resolves in time, but to minimize the problems with hand wavy layer 2 solutions without fully acknowledging the technical uncertainly gives ammunition to maxis.
David Burkett seemed to be furious about Jack Dorsey speech at Miami Bitcoin Conference: Jack is “not a Bitcoiner and didn’t deserve to speak in Miami. His mic should’ve been cut with no warning, like he does with so many others. Shame on all of you hypocrites who still defend him.”
In response to David Burkett, Peter McCormack stated: “So, 24 hours after Jack Mallers announces that El Salvador is making Bitcoin legal tender and adding it to their reserves they suspect Jack’s account.”
In 2013, Dorsey expressed to CNN an admiration for Michael Bloomberg and said that he aspires to become Mayor of New York City. May be he will become like Mayor Francis Suarez of Miami and may be like El Salvador make it a legal tender.
