Saylor is converting all cash flow into Bitcoin. Saylor keeps getting better and better as he talks about Bitcoin. The use of analogies is precisely what the majority of the population understands far better than a technical exposition. He is a legit visionary, and he deserves all the respect. Brilliant and trustworthy.
When Michael Saylor talks, BTC holders realize just how early we are in this space. And he spreads the idea that investing in BTC should be on every individual’s list. Saylor is brilliant – his metaphorical storytelling brings it all together. In addition, he is constantly dropping analogies that blow your mind for how relevant they are.
Saylor: I take my money, I put it in the palm of my hand, and I can move it a million times a second. I can search 100 million companies worldwide and find the one company for Saturday afternoon that is willing to pay a yield on my property or rent it from me.
And, the idea that I could actually stop my property on my money to 10 million companies a million times a second is big. It is a big enough idea that digital property should demonetize most other forms of property, just like digital maps destroyed paper maps. You won’t find anybody with the car, anybody in the world carrying paper maps around. They are gone. They are digitally transformed.
And digital music took over all of the CDs and the phonographs, and the records. No one hires an orchestra to come into their home to play music. They use their mobile phone Pandora or Spotify. And so, digital property is the basis of the 21st-century economy, which is why the world needs Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is digital property, and it is engineered to be a terrible property over time, and that makes it the solution to the problems with monetary inflation or savings over the long term.
And, I will say on that basis, it replaces the mythical gold storage vault as a long-term store of value. And the other thing that is critical about bitcoin is the digital point of the property. It is not just engineered property; it is better than other types of property, but it is digital, which means you can take a billion dollars of property like a building or land or billion dollars of company commodities or livestock timber coal or whatever have you, you can take that and realize it into a private key and move it at the speed of light.
