Gold doesn’t have inherent value. It only has the value the market gives it. Bitcoin is the same. And the fact that bitcoin has a pseudo-religious following means that it will continue to have value, regardless of what happens in the stock market.
Yes, I believe bitcoin price will collapse when the fed increases the rate and other factors involved too. But it will go up again, because this is a religion movement and religion will always stay with humanity forever and act like normal phenomenon after mainstream falls to it.
Gold increased by 2% in the last 10 years Inflation has been nearly 2% PER year for last 10 years Meaning you lost money holding gold for the last 10 years. Meanwhile, Bitcoin is up 350% this year.
If you are new to crypto all you have to do is read a reliable book on Bitcoin explaining its origin. Then, pick up a book on Ethereum and the lightbulbs would flash. Why does only 2% of the world own Bitcoin and it’s price is only $63k and 80+% of the world own stocks and they are way overpriced? I think it is riskier to own what everyone else owns because that is a bubble. Bitcoin is not a risky asset if you understand it. Start studying.
Is bitcoin a part of the bubble? Definition of a bubble is an asset like property that the average person can no longer afford. Bitcoin can’t be a bubble because anyone can buy bits of it. I don’t understand why idiot’s keep saying Bitcoin is a bubble.
I hold both gold and bitcoin. I hold gold for two reasons: 1) It’ll still be around and valuable 100 years from now. 2) If the shit hits the fan, I may need to spend it to buy food.
I hold bitcoin for two reasons: 1) Money is going to continue to pour into the space making me much richer. 2) If I need to leave in a hurry I can arrive with the capital I need in my brain.
Bitcoin is not a risky asset. It is the future of financial market It is Revolution of money I think if you don’t have bitcoin you risk so much If you think you lose bitcoin you can buy ETH or SOL.
Gold is old, Bitcoin is new money. Acknowledge and move on. The more governments and companies that start using Bitcoin and other “high risk” crypto assets the stronger they get. And that’s only going up.
