Community Response: I still hold gold than a code that doesn’t generate or used for anything besides hoping another joe buying it.
What about ETH. Maxi’s constant refusal to look at ETH is intellectually dishonest. ETH has a role to play in a well-balanced digital asset portfolio. It would be great for you to deep dive on it. There is a lot of potential.
I have been thinking about how the collapse of the dollar may affect the way in which we price Bitcoin. Say for example the dollar collapsed like what happened on Venezuela. How would you then price the amount of which Bitcoin is valued at without having a currency.
To peg it to as the dollar is the world’s global reserve currency. Is this the transition what would be needed for things to then be priced in Bitcoin and their intrinsic values in turn worked out after? I heard Peter Schiff speak on Peter McCormack’s podcast and he said for him.
To accept Bitcoin things would have to be valued in Bitcoin rather than the dollar. Is this the transition we would need to see this happening? I might not have articulated my point precisely but I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
A lot of great points. I do think you are to bearish on Gold. Bitcoin can still overtake the market cap of gold. Even while Gold goes up in value, I think the major central banks will be the last ones to adopt bitcoin.
I am an Old gold bug. Very glad I bought Bitcoin instead of gold this year. Very glad I bought MSTR for my 401k. Thank you for your leadership Michael.
Owning Bitcoin and Ethereum gets you on the efficient Frontier. The government, whales, and social media influencers are the only winners in this devastating gambling called crypto.
As it has always been. There is opportunity for those who brave the frontier.
Bitcoin is not just a new asset class. It is a financial revolution and as Thomas Jefferson once said, every generation needs a new revolution.
