Bitcoin the BTC Black Magic for Politicians the Miami Mayor Way

At some point every politician will start demanding their salary in SATs. *even* those who were against it.

Looking back into the past:  5 US Mayors Prefer to get paid in Bitcoin (BTC)

Francis Suarez, Mayor of Miami recently said, “I still buy Bitcoin every two weeks. Since taking my salary in Bitcoin, my salary is up! It’s been a good investment.”

It just looks like the Mayor is buying monthly and putting it in Cold Storage to check it back after 10 years.

Listening to what the Mayor says Bitcoin believers say this is going to be a good investment down the lane.

Interviewer to Mayor of Miami: You wanted Mr. Mayor, Miami to be known as the crypto center of the United States do you still take your salary, by the way your City Salary in Bitcoin.

Mayor:  I do as a matter of fact.  Actually, it has been a good investment. If you can understand I get paid every two weeks.  When I did sign in I bought it at 60K and now it is at 20. So, sometimes people misunderstand that you are buying it every two weeks and you are buying it in the fluctuations.  So actually, since I bought it, since I started taking my salary in Bitcoin – my salary is actually up. So, it has actually been a good investment. Not that I am trading on it, you know and I think that a part of this problem with this conversation about Bitcoin and it is interesting to me that segment sort of expresses the fact that obviously, we live in a 24-hour news cycle world.

We got to talk about something all the time.  So every permutation, every fluctuation is subject to great conversation, you know the fact that Bitcoin is up, this year by 20% or 30%

You can’t be constantly be on the ups and downs, you got to talk about this technology in a more super way. You know we are in the early stages of development of blockchain technology of Web 3 technology and that is good for the ecosystem.

While majority of the investors are worried about the price trends, it just looks like the Mayor believes in BTC and he simply has chosen to hold and DCA biweekly in his own way.  May be we will keep watching him and eventually we will know how much he makes when the price bounces back high and we refer back on this blatant confession that he continues to buy every 2 week.

May be just like anything else politicians have learnt how BTC really works.
