Gucci is all set to accept Bitcoin as a payment method. They will be accepting Dogecoin and Shiba Inu as well in all their US stores by the end of summer. Thus, Bitcoin, Ether, Litecoin, Shiba Inu and Dogecoin and five stable coins are going to be accepted.
Someone opined “Out of all the useful coins and tokens available and they chose two meme coins, Shiba Inu and Doge as forms of payment.”
May be Gucci is going to cash out Bitcoin, Shiba and Doge when their financial advisors ask them to do so. This just makes it look like Bitcoin is just another meme coin according to onlookers.
It just looks like the meme coins are gaining more importance in everyday transactions when compared to several other cryptos.
Sydney Ifergan, The CMO.eth: “If Gucci accepts Crypto or Bitcoin it’s fine, but let’s be honest, not everyone has the money to buy in these stores. What we need is Carrefour, McDonalds or even Tesco that would be a game-changer for the crypto space.”
Customers who are looking to transact using crypto will be emailed a QR code, thus enabling them to complete the transfer from their wallet.

Now that we are able to integrate cryptocurrencies within our payment system, it is a natural evolution for those customers who would like to have this option available to them.”
It is becoming increasingly obvious that Luxury brands are becoming very crypto friendly.
Noteworthy, previously Gucci teamed up with 10KTF NFT project for their metaverse collection. The project consisted of floating: 1. A virtual world called “New Tokyo” 2. Fashion accessories for NFT owners 3. A fictional character known as Wagmi-San.
These NFTs are a unique collection of personalized NFTs envisioned by Alessandro Michele and crafted by digital artisan Wagmi-san. Thus, Gucci have already embraced a wholly modern approach to fashion, redefining luxury suited for the 21st century. Thus, Fashion with NFTs and blockchain technology is becoming influential, innovative and progressive.
