There are many who say I am in for the technology when it is about the blockchain.  However, about 99% of people in crypto are in it for the money, let’s be real. This need not be true. If they are, they are not yet decentralized humans. And, the reality is nobody is a decentralized human. We prefer to be self-sovereign human beings.

Everything works the money way.  Even the internet was born out of pure capitalism.  Traditional communities were built around agriculture, products, storage, protection of seeds and crops. And, all the activities and folklore were centered and derivatives of agriculture, but now the term community whether “cryptocurrency community” or “blockchain community” creates a fake feeling as the term community is beginning to lose its real sense.

So, now with all the blockchain and cryptocurrency comes the Bitcoin politics or Altcoin politics.

Ever since its introduction in 2009, Bitcoin has been commonly promoted as a digital currency which is set to revolutionize everything from online commerce to the nation-state. However, supporters of Bitcoin and the blockchain technology subscribe to a form of “cyberlibertarianism” which depends to a surprising extent on a far-right political thought.

For clarity, right-wing commonly refers to the section of a political party or system, which advocates free enterprise and private ownership and mostly favours socially traditional ideas. Right wing focuses on notions like authority, hierarchy, order, duty, tradition, reaction and nationalism.

The left-wing of the political spectrum is based upon ideas like freedom, equality, fraternity, rights, progress, reform and internationalism.

Internationalism is the state or process of being international. The three important concepts of internationalism are hegemonic, revolutionary, and liberal.

Libertarianism as a political philosophy upholds liberty as a core principle. Libertarians seek to maximize autonomy and political freedom, emphasizing free association, freedom of choice, individualism and voluntary association.

A voluntary group or union consists of a group of individuals who enter into an agreement, usually as volunteers, to form a body to accomplish a purpose. Common examples consist of trade associations, trade unions, learned societies, professional associations, and environmental groups – And now in the line are BTC advocates, cypherpunks, privacy advocates, torch bearers of the principle of decentralization.

The principle of cooperation among nations for the promotion of their common good sometimes as contrasted with nationalism, or devotion to the interests of a particular nation is known as internationalism.

Bitcoin Technology has made Libertarianism a possibility. Further, the challenge now for the advocates is to practice Bitcoin Internationalism even if their domicile nation prevents them from promoting the Bitcoin political spectrum.

What if regulators and governments choose to unplug the electricity supply to the nodes mining Bitcoin like China did? Will cyberlibertarianism evolve to be cyber-liberto-extremists!
