Michael Saylor expressed: You do not sell your Bitcoin. Money is half of everything.
Community response: Try smuggling that much BTC onto a flight while fleeing the country though especially with hand baggage allowance as it is.
Bitcoin investors will resist selling their coins a lot longer and the bull run will continue. When Bitcoin dips 5% he sees -50 million in his Blockfolio. I wouldn’t be able to sleep.
Just curious, do you ever check its USD value? It’s over a billion dollars. He purchased 17,732 BTC for $173 million. That investment is now worth $1.09 billion. Just some perspective for you.
If I bought that much at $10k, I’d spend all day on Twitter talking about it too. Then how do
you extract gains? I like that steadfast HODLERS like Saylor have big bags. It steadies the ship, takes circulation out, supply and demand and blah blah.
Hold on a bloody second, you personally own 17k bitcoins? I am seriously lost for words.
How are we going to buy bitcoin then? What if you decide to cash out all your holdings? Just being curious. We must advance our tech industry.
We’ll give you special borrow privileges but please don’t tell anyone. Abra enables borrowing against your bitcoin holdings.
Thing is you can’t live in a Bitcoin. And personally I can’t find a good deal to borrow against it. When the time comes I will sell some, knowing that eventually those Bitcoin go past $1m value and beyond. I’m ok with that.
You can for example borrow against it on Aave or Celsius for around 1% interest. Rinse and repeat forever. Never selling your Bitcoin. The ultimate Freedom hack.
Don’t sell your BTC, help me hold my big profits for at least 10 years then I’ll start taking profits to pay my investors because let’s be honest, investors like to be paid. I don’t have paper hand but also don’t want to be paper rich.
Sats right now is only $0.00058. Sats are small units of Bitcoin. The soundest money that humans have ever had.
Do you think Bitcoin would actually be used as form of payment or stay in the asset class? Other coins do better with transactions. Or simply just use USDT and USDC to pay for things by transferring out of BTC. Examples, paying for gas, groceries, etc.
I believe that cryptocurrency will replace cash payment in the future
