Dennis Porter shared: BREAKING: Russian Government will treat bitcoin and digital assets as currency.
Community response:
This wasn’t a joke. It’s coming. FUTURE HEADLINE: Russia Might Move to denominate all oil and gas contracts in Bitcoin.
Reports that Russia will recognize Bitcoin and crypto assets as currencies! Probably nothing.
The best news from this is Bitcoin doesn’t care if its participant is Russian or American.
The info above is inaccurate & incomplete. 1. Crypto is declared as assets similar to currencies (as opposed to another digital fin. assets), but not currencies. 2. Crypto transactions will be allowed only in the regulated sector via banks or licensed brokers, with full identification.
Some arguments are that Bitcoin is a threat to National security as enemies are circumventing US economic sanctions by utilizing Bitcoin or other digital assets. Conveniently, this argument is to Nationalize crypto, which will follow the path of the digital yuan and what China did to inspire centralization.
However, many are wondering why is America so far behind? Because we have a failed president who does not know what day of the week is.
You have to KYC and declare transactions over $10k. Everything else illegal in Russia. Dump incoming.
Peer1: What’s wrong with KYC are you a drug dealer? Them knowing you have it doesn’t equate to control of it. Pay your taxes and you’ll be fine.
Peer 2: Anything is wrong with KYC. I don’t want governments or whoever (whatever) to spy on me and my money. I don’t want my real name or address to be tracked when I buy or sell something.
Peer1: So, you are not paying tax.
Peer 2: I do not. Do you see any problem with that? And you? Are you giving away your money for services you don’t need, served badly with a lot of bureaucracy?
Usually, people buy more BTC when they hear such news, it is better off not to trust the news always. It is good to control the greed.
If you believe in hard money, stack satoshis. Hard money will prevail. Forget the news articles. Zoom out the Bitcoin chart. You will see it’s a one-way move with no top. Do the satoshis, as many as you can. Drop the leverage. Hold your satoshis. You will not regret it.
You seem to have a simple view: Faster=Better Sorry, but it’s more complicated than that. The meme is funny though.
There is no stock market or investment market dynamics without volatility.
