Ivan in his recent interview with the Augur Project did a great job covering the complications with DeFi yield farming today. It was indeed a big DeFi Chat.
Ivan on Tech tweeted: “Big Defi Chat with Augur Project (Tom Kysar) Talking about the good, the bad and the ugly is yield farming sustainable? Scaling Regulation Augur.”
Tom Kysar from Augur spoke about Defi, Augur, Ethereum, Scaling, Regulation and lot more. They also spoke about the current Defi ecosystem, the risks, and dangers and also the future of this amazing industry.
Commentators opined that it was a really enlightening interview with Tom. Many people who did not have an idea about the functionality of Augur will be able to look closer after they look in to the interview. These Ivan on Tech channel interviews with tech leaders are really powerful.
Tyler Reynolds tweeted: “Understated point. Not only may Nexus not have enough to cover claims if a hack affects multiple protocols, they may walk away with the bag. One of the reasons I’m thinking @AugurProject may be better for insurance markets.”
Of note, Augur are supported by Ethereum. Augur recently stated there is a huge reason for why new users will be able to enter Ethereum and not immediately drown. From endless support tickets to building straight forward tooling, everybody owes them a big thank you for everything they’ve done to make Ethereum accessible over the past half-decade.
Augur Project v2 was recently live, and all REP holders were asked to migrate their tokens. They were asked to visit the REP Migration Widget and stated that it’ll take you two simple steps to upgrade from v1 to v2.
One of them when talking about REP Migration Widget stated, that’s one of the tools you totally could have charged for. I know gas prices are high right now but the laziness factor of reading migration docs vs one click move is money. The REP to REPv2 Migration has occurred pretty smoothly.
Augur v1 was deployed when Ethereum ecosystem was coming into its own. Now Augur integrates 0x, Maker, Uniswap, Portis, Torus and Fortmatic.
These integrations serves as a valuable building block to create bespoke features without which Augur’s core development team might have to spend countless additional hours of development time. The Augur core developers are happy about these integrations as they serve as foundational developed in the Ethereum ecosystem. More of integrations awaited with Augur v3!
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Waiting to see what is set to come out with Augur V3!”
