Block.one recently expressed that they are inviting the EOS community to test the proposed resource model, give feedback, and join the bounty program.
Daniel Larimer tweeted: “I am super thrilled to see EOS community make progress toward a more economical resource model.”
Block.one further stated that the EOS block producers, help make the proposal successful by submitting their feedback. Also stated that they would like to hear from EOS-based application developers. Also stated, Competitive bounties for the discovery of any critical issues are available for all developers.
Further Block.one also thanked the community-operated testnets Jungle and Kylin for providing a testing environment.
Meanwhile one of the commentators pointed to how the market value of TRON has surpassed EOS and that they need to learn more from Boss Sun in marketing.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Block One (.@block_one_ ) have invited the #EOS community to help test the proposed resource model. I think it is good to get paid to identify critical issues. Anyone will to participate and win the #Bounties?”
It is well known that robust testing will need broad and deep participation. With the entire EOS developer community being called for the participation with an offer for a competitive bounty and individual prizes up to $20,000 for reporting any critical issues the process will surely serve the purpose it was intended for.
When talking about the model, they have to state that it is about increasing their alignment with the EOS Network. Further, expressed confidence by stating, if adopted this would further improve the access to the resources available across the EOS token holders. Thus bringing true resource cost in line with the actual usage and further reducing the average cost in the transactions.
Details to explore and build by seeing how the code works behind the upgraded resource model is provided. Links to 1.8 Release Candidate and 1.9 branch are available. It is possible for developers to test the new resource model through the two community operated testnets like Jungle and Kylin.
They are welcoming both positive and critical opinions about the proposed EOS Resource model. Thus improved engagement is expected leading to productive governance.
Since the EOS Network supports complex applications with nuanced user experiences, the new resource model is expected to change a lot in these experiences. EOS developers are expected to be very open about what they think.
It is important to note that Block.one continues to be committed to align their long- term success, growth, and sustained development of the EOS Public Blockchain. Further they ensure that their voting strategy will evolve in a way to help with the dynamic requirements of the network.
