Flow Blockchain Collector Economies Bringing New Digital World to Life

Flow Blockchain

Mainstream brands are looking to execute lot of things in the cryptocurrency space.  There is a lot that users can do about getting involved.

There will be a webinar on “Partnerships in Flow – Insights into Sports.” on March 31, 2021 at 3 pm PT/ 6pm ET.  The Webinar will be hosted by Caty Tedman, Dapper Labs of Marketing and Partnerships.

For those who have not head of Flow before – it is the blockchain for open worlds.  It is a fast, decentralized and developer-friendly blockchain.  It is designed to serve as a foundation for a new generation of games, apps, and the digital assets.  Flow plays a unique, multi-role architecture, and it is designed to scale without sharding.

Flow makes use of an ACID-compliant environment.  Developers on Flow are empowered to build thriving crypto- and crypto-enabled businesses. The applications on Flow will be able to keep consumers in control of their own data.  Developers will be able to come up with new kinds of digital assets which can be further traded on open markets and it will be accessible from anywhere in the world.  Thus, it helps building open economies, which is owned by users who help make the assets valuable.

The apps on the Flow blockchain are powered by smart contracts, which can be assembled like Lego Blocks.  The users who will benefit are anyone in mission critical requirements, businesses, basketball fans and others.

Flow is unique when compared to several other blockchains, because of 4 features like its Multi-role architecture, resource-oriented programming, Developer Economics, and consumer onboarding.

For more clarity: “Multi-role architecture: Billions of users are served without sharding or reducing decentralization of consensus.  Resource-oriented programming: Cadence is used to write the smart contracts on Flow, which is an easier and safer programming language for crypto assets and apps.  Developer ergonomics: Upgradeable smart contracts, built-in logging support to the Flow Emulator are features on the network designed for results.  Consumer onboarding: Payment onramps are catalyzing a safe and low-friction path from fiat to crypto.”

It is important for Flow to engage with a large and diverse set of stakeholders. It is important to extend beyond the investor base to include developers and ecosystem partners who choose to build on the top of the network.

Collector economies around unique IP are getting created across the world due to the concept of digital scarcity created by brands, influencers, and ownership of assets.

Flow is looking to sponsor the creation of an entertainment industry council for C-level executives from global IP holders, game publishers, entertainment studios, and cultural influencers. The council will further help identify risks and opportunities, which will in turn remove friction-points for consumer adoption.  This will eventually help catalyze a healthy global entertainment ecosystem.
