IOST Gets the Bronze Medal Outperforming TRON Tezos and NEO Blockchain

IOST

IOST claims High TPS, Dev-friendly, zero security issue since the mainnet launch, original PoB consensus & the list goes on. Once again, IOST’s tech is recognized as the top in the world by a credible China public organization.

On April 20, 2021, the Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID), under China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in their comprehensive assessment and ranking of 37 well known public blockchain projects in the world stated that, “IOST has successfully defended its title and ranked first, again, in the basic technology sub-index, granting it the bronze medal in the overall ranking, outperforming big competitors such as TRON, Tezos and NEO blockchain.”

The evaluation by the CCID began in 2018The CCID (Qingdao) Blockchain Research Institute Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology initiated the study.

The evaluation work has taken place in collaboration with several organizations like the CCIDWise network security research institute, China Software Evaluation Center, “Cyberspace Security” magazine, and others.

CCID is the organization which specializes in blockchain consulting and technical services.  Also, it is a part of the Secretariat of China Blockchain Ecosystem Alliance.

Of note, the CCID center assesses the crypto projects based on three categories like basic technology, applicability, and creativity.

The IOST has now secured a third position in the global index due to its first-class basic technology, which is out performing big competitors like TRON, Tezos, and NEO.

IOST has been crowned the champion of Basic Technology sub-index with a score of 106.7.  The sub-index evaluates for technical development, functionality, performance, security, and grade of decentralization.  It is very well known that these are the categories in which IOST has obvious advantages over other public chains.

IOST are very clear about that too much of security is never enough.  They are now working with Polkadot’s cross-chain privacy protocol “Raze Network” to provide for an additional privacy protection layer to the IOST users. Thus, they are looking to boost the additional privacy protection layer to the IOST ecosystem.
