The new IOTA Explorer, powered by Chronicle is available.  Everything one need to know about IOTA Networks in one place, including transactions per second, confirmation rate, price, and more.

Users have to state that it is almost as nice as the Cardano explorer. IOTA is the favorite projects out there for many and they are confident that there is bright future ahead keeping fingers crossed for entire team and future development.

Pagi is another real-world initiative from the IOTA Community.  It facilitates an ecosystem that enables IOT devices to receive payments with IOTA, negotiate prices, issue refunds and act like a mature economic operator. Reselling even small amounts of electricity and water is now possible. With Pagi any kind of electrical device can be monetized.  They provide for time-based, consumption-based, and action-based  payments.

The first product from Pagi is a firmware which will function on a variety of IoT devices like switches, sockets, plugs, relay boards and valves to enable usage based payment schemes for electrical devices or resources like electricity, water and gas.

Installation and configuration is very easy and those with very little technological knowledge will be able to execute it. The sooner it is installed Pagi controls the connected device or resource with just a single output signal. A simple socket decides whether to let electricity flow or not. Any electrical device can thus monetized using the Pagi device.

IOTA payments is implemented to receive payments as coin payments require high maintenance, prone to lot of space and errors.  IOTA protocol facilitates essential properties for micro-transactions and IOT devices. Pagi are also working on fiat-to-crypto onramp as well as a crypto-to-fiat off-ramp to onboard businesses and customers from outside. Pagi device work with a freely selectable IOTA node – with no external servers involved.

IOTA Japanese Project

IOTA in their tweet expressed that they are proud to join the Japanese government on NEDO Project to protect critical infrastructure with AI and DLT. There is a detailed publication on how IOTA will help strengthen the security and durability of critical infrastructure in Japan and abroad.

However, one of the users tried to clarify stating, Hype much? NOT partnering with Japanese government. Partnering with a project funded by them. In the U.K. many companies and charities funded by government, doesn’t mean partnership.  Another user stated, IOTA has a long and well-documented history of misleading comments and hype. Fortunately most people seem aware of this. There’s a reason IOTA is dropping in rank like a stone.
