The IOTA Blog have published that IOTA & INATBA Together are going to address social challenges. IOTA have invited the IOTA Community to share initiatives so that they can make an impact together.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “ IOTA are good at creating changes and making the best use of technology; however, to get started they need to know what are the social challenges that needs to be addressed.”
Reportedly in the past year, IOTA Foundation became the Founding member of The International Association of Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA). There were 100 other leading organizations in this association.
The INATBA through their Social Impact and Sustainability Working Group (SI&S) have been focusing their efforts on identifying projects and organizations which focus on creating a positive social and environmental impact using the Distributed Ledger Technologies.
The SI&S-WG have prepared a survey to map and analyze “Blockchain for impact” ecosystem to narrow down to the list of challenges that are met by projects when making use of Blockchain to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The insights of the survey are likely to be published later.
IOTA have invited everybody in the community to participate in the survey to eventually provide insights about their project and also to contribute by telling more as challenges and opportunities evolve that is worth bringing to the spotlight.
Being one of the 106 founding members of INATBA, the IOTA Foundation is continuing to play an active role in supporting INATBA’s and the SIWG’s objectives.
SIWG leverages the experience and knowledge it’s members to better understand and demonstrate the potential of DLT to help address distinct social challenges, which are currently impacting the local and international communities. It can be anything ranging from climate change, inequality, food, water waste, etc.
IOTA are forever focused on bringing out the combined strength of whomever they are working with eventually contributing to the overall development in smart cities.
IOTA tweeted: “Are you active in municipal planning & development or are you interested in smartcities? Join us for the Smart Urban Innovation, free webinar (in German). Thomas Anderer will present his experiences w/ digitization at Bruchsal. October 15 at 2PM CEST.”
IOTA are progressing towards IOTA 2.0 and they are organizing an AMA on October 14, 2020 to discuss the elements of Coordicide.
IOTA are doing great in building the real decentralized network of the IoET (Internet of “Every” Thing).
