Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are everywhere. The sale and distribution of Art are getting unrealistic exaggeration. It just looks like museums are everywhere. Paintings without chronological value seem to gain undue attention. Artists are everywhere. There appears to be no value for value.
Justin Sun expressed: “I am excited to participate in the Christies Inc Art+Tech Summit that focuses on NFTs. I look forward to offering a comprehensive vision of the impact of NFT, which is backed by the underlying technology of top-notch blockchains, on the art world of today and beyond. So get to grips with the technology shaping the future of the art market.
Christie gratefully acknowledges the generous support of APENFT and TRON as the supporting sponsor of the Art + Tech Summit.
It is now not uncommon to see Justin Sun call one artwork or the other extraordinary. But then, he further moves ahead to bid and buy the Art too. It just looks like, with the coming of NFTs, Art is everywhere in every form – omnipresent and omnipotent.
There are pep talks about enormous attention and active participation from users from all over the world. But, just like the numbers of accounts per the TRON scan keep exceeding millions and trillions, it would not be surprising if the numbers of artwork in the name of NFTs crosses billions and trillions and more.
The coffee that you are spilling on your work desk, the stain mark on your white shirt, a broken glass, the thrash can, the laundry basket, your uncared for garage, the graveyard will all be converted to NFTs very soon. Crazy billions are getting exchanged – citing the NFTs as ones having unparalleled value. Holding these NFTs long is going to drive value? It may be revenue from YouTube exhibits.
Any website is an NFT museum. The Digital Museum visits people through their Androids and Smartphones, spamming them with millions and trillions of NFTs. Photographs of stock images and baby diapers are now NFTs.
Ethics? Artist’s rights, creativity, innovation, equity, sustainability, scarcity are all words used to scam people in the name of NFTs.
They say museums can capitalize on NFTs. Some say artists get paid for all the time they spend doing it. If they are not paid, they will not do it anymore. Paying the extra for NFTs is a method of keeping artisans and artists sustained. A way of keeping the art form alive. We can live without Art, but not without food. However, protecting Art is a cultural thing. The exorbitant price paid for artwork that gets appreciation and attention was due to the ethics factor in preserving timeless Art. However, to produce timeless Art, you now need Untitled – Paint at the bare minimum, and you are an NFT millionaire!
Artwork attracted value for its Age, History, and Unique theories. Now there are Tom Dick and Harry Theories behind every NFTs. Age in minutes, history in hours, and theories are pranks!
It just looks like the King of TRON SCAN is sporting the King of NFT Scam.
