Monero has a reminder for Trezor Monero users, who are asked to be sufficiently prepared for the scheduled network upgrade of October 17, 2020. Also, the updated firmware was made available by the Trezor team.

It goes that everyone wants privacy but no one wants to leave privacy once they’ve experienced/embraced it. Once someone has used Monero and understood how easy and out of the box privacy can be, you don’t want to go back jumping hoops on transparent chains. And then there’s the dynamic block size, tail emission to keep miners incentivized, ASIC resistance, and lot more.
The Monero community members were discussing about coinjoined BTC. Many felt, it is prone to human error. And, that optional privacy generally is not as good as default as users tend to stick out and even can get flagged, can become pretty expensive when transaction fees rise again on BTC, doesn’t make Bitcoin fungible.
Critics have to state, it doesn’t make sense to use Monero and gain true privacy and true freedom just to go back to a surveillance coin. It’s impossible. It’s like locking yourself back in your cage.
Some of them acknowledge that every transaction they have made in the past on Bitcoin come back to cause problems for them in the future. Further stated that they have stopped liberally using bitcoin unless it’s been coinjoined, and that is a pain to do properly all the time.

One of the Monero community member stated, I spend cash, I store value in Monero, and that privacy is not a crime.
The best thing worth noting about Monero is about how their development is completely funded by their users through the CSS. In a first, the community are now funding vacation days for one of Monero’s great developers of over six years! Sarang Noether!
Cake Wallet Tweeted: “Hope y’all been watching what Monero has done this year. Doubled against BTC. It truly is what Bitcoin was meant to be.”
There are hard believes in Privacy who state that privacy is the requirement of hard money, literally daring everyone else to fight the statement.
