Tezos is at the forefront of blockchain innovation receiving fast, secure, regular upgrades implemented via the unique Tezos on-chain governance mechanism. A blockchain that self-upgrades, and therefore, keeps up with the times? That’s Tezos.
Negative Community Response: Why is the price action so crap though? Tezos has been sinking on the global ranking. This is the same thing people said who didn’t understand Bitcoin back in the day. It’s only $10, doesn’t seem very valuable to me.
Positive Community Response: Why is adoption and usage growing exponentially though?
Tezos has the working technologies being used right now, that are just future promises from the so called “leading” top market cap projects. Who else has private smart contracts for example? Tezos as it stands, is THEIR roadmap.
CleanNFT 10,000x lower fees. The future tech promised by the top market cap projects, only here today and disrupting the status quo Hic Et Nunc within only two months of opening has overtaken the previous #1 NFT marketplace OpenSea in daily active users it runs, on Tezos.
For those who missed out on Florence: Tezos’ 6th upgrade – adopted at block #1,466,369. Florence doubles the maximum smart contract size on Tezos allowing for even more complex applications.
Florence reduces gas costs by optimizing calculations. The Tezos gas arithmetic is sped up by a factor of ten – increasing overall performance of a typical execution cycle of the Michelson interpreter in Florence by 35%.
With Florence, it is easier than ever for developers to write complicated systems of smart contracts on Tezos. Florence changes the applied order of inter-contract calls emitted by smart contracts to a depth first execution order which is far more intuitive to most developers.
Florence deactivates the Test Chain feature in the Economic Protocol. With this change, the Tezos amendment process becomes more streamlined and trouble-free.
Community Response: I am realizing how profound and important on-chain amending and governance is. Systems are bound to be flawed, but not all systems have an efficient way to fix that. Decentralized Turing universality is nice, but it needs to be used for error correction.
This is something that Tezos seems to be doing effectively. And by doing that, it is able to be more effective than the mere power afforded by Computational Universality. How does this property compare to other blockchains, and what is preventing them from achieving this?
A strong team with lots of potential they will surely make this project a great success. I am sure that the company will be great in the future.
