Solana Captures $453.5 Million in Tokenized Funds as Ethereum Volumes Decline

A joint report by RWA Foundation and Token Terminal recorded a redistribution of capital in the real-world asset (RWA) tokenization sector during the week of October 18–25, 2026. Solana emerged as the primary beneficiary of this shift, attracting $453.5 million in tokenized funds, which represented 73% of the total inflow into the top 10 blockchains. This inflow occurred as volumes declined on Ethereum infrastructure, with capital and new investors moving toward alternative networks.

Capital Shifts to Alternative Chains

Stellar was the closest competitor to Solana in the tokenized funds segment, adding $124.5 million during the reporting period. XRP Ledger also entered the top 10 leaders but recorded a limited result of $131,000 in capital attraction, indicating a significant gap in the pace of capital accumulation compared to the leading networks. The report noted that liquidity flows in the RWA sector are tied to issuers with maximum supply volume or platforms with the lowest transaction costs.

In the tokenized stocks market, Ethereum lost $26.0 million in market capitalization. This released liquidity flowed into BNB Chain, which gained $135.9 million, and Solana, which gained $55.8 million. Solana also led in the growth of stockholder addresses, adding 114,600 wallets in seven days. The Backpack platform added 58,500 addresses during the same period.

Stablecoin and Institutional Activity

Binance’s retail products, bStocks and xStocks, accumulated nearly 94% of the tokenized stocks segment’s total monetary growth. bStocks saw an accumulation of $127.8 million, while xStocks accumulated $73.4 million. In the stablecoin market, Paxos became the leader in capital inflow, with its capitalization growing by $249.8 million. This growth accounted for 65% of the total growth among the top 10 stablecoin issuers. Paxos distributed its capital mainly through the Arc and Solana networks.

Tether led in user base expansion, providing 90% of the total inflow of new addresses among the top 10 issuers. The network added 1.7 million new wallets in one week. BNB Chain served as the main infrastructure hub for these transactions, adding 1.3 million addresses. Tron added 212,000 Tether addresses, and Solana added 184,000 Tether addresses.

Institutional capital in the tokenized funds segment demonstrated stable inflows. Franklin Templeton recorded an inflow of $33.9 million, and J.P. Morgan recorded an inflow of $33.6 million. Together, these two financial institutions provided almost half of the weekly growth in the institutional segment. Spiko led the pace of attracting investors in this segment, adding 491 new investor addresses.
