Miami Bitcoin Conference 2021 without Elon Blip with Mashinsky Saylor and Dorsey

Bitcoin Conference

Elon Musk is a divisive figure even though he was not physically present at the world’s largest bitcoin conference in Miami.

Alex Mashinsky, CEO of Celsius Network, when asked about how the crypto world is looking at Elon Musk, stated, “Elon is a tourist in crypto. He is here to collect followers. I don’t think he is here to make the world a better place. We get to go where we are going with Elon and without Elon.”

Bitcoin 2021 Conference Miami, is the two-day conference in Miami, which touches on various topics like investing in the bitcoin system.  They are looking at a bitcoin-enabled future with the prospects for the creator economy and also creating banking systems for the unbanked community.

Michael Saylor of Microstrategy Company, who obviously was among the first movers who had Bitcoin in their balance sheet last year before the rally began was at the event.

He stated, “Bitcoin by long shot was one of the most energy efficient assets in the history of the planet.”

Michael Saylor is playing to the masses. With that size is investment and this level of commitment he will soon have an army of Bitcoiners as his followers.

It just looks like Michael really came to help in the fight for Bitcoin.  Several small investors have invested in BTC after seeing Saylor’s interviews.

Jack Dorsey expressed:  “Square is considering making a hardware wallet for Bitcoin. If we do it, we would build it entirely in the open, from software to hardware design, and in collaboration with the community. We want to kick off this thinking the right way: by sharing some of our guiding principles.

Bitcoin is for everyone. It’s important to us to build an inclusive product that brings a non-custodial solution to the global market. Much respect to everyone who has gotten us this far. What are the biggest blockers to get a non-custodial solution to the next 100M people?

No keys, no cheese.” The exchange you used to buy your bitcoin probably attends to your security with good intent, but circumstances may reveal “custody” actually means “IOU.” Deciding to take custody, and security, of your bitcoin is complicated. What’s the #1 problem here?

Custody doesn’t have to be all-or-nothing. We can probably simplify custody through “assisted self-custody.” Assisted requires great product design: minimal setup time, relying on existing devices, and end-to-end reliability. How should we be thinking about assisted solutions?

Most people access the internet on mobile. Any solution we build must provide an excellent experience when using mobile, despite its shortcomings and liabilities. An uncompromising focus on mobile interaction is likely to include the most people. What are the dangers here?”
