The First NFTS of the Tpunks Homage to Cyperpunks on the TRON Blockchain

Tpunks are the first NFTs to TRON. Tpunks started off as a hobby NFT project to practice Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) with data set. Unfortunately, the creators @mondiblo and @bastardber did not have money to buy Cryptopunks even though it was cheaper in the past year.  And. so they challenged themselves to make Tpunks interesting enough.

Justin Sun retweeted:  “Tpunks are changes in the Tpunks Marketplace Upgrade: – when you list your Punk, it doesn’t transfer to the market contract. – Two currencies for trading TRX, NFT – Even if the Punk not listed, you can make an offer – each Punk can have many offers.”

The Tpunks concept carries the original Cryptopunk; however, they have different traits like Justin Sun Tpunks and more attributes. They have to claim that Tpunks is the child of Cryptopunks and that sometimes children are much more relaxed than their parents.  Just visit the Market, Gallery, History, recent listings, recent bids, and sold list and kick start the participation.

Tpunks is the first NFT collectibles on the TRON blockchain, built using the TRC721 standard. Those who missed the OG Cryptopunks wave will find this to be another chance.  Tpunks are 10,000 unique collectible characters like crypto punks on TRON. While Tpunks imitate the famous Cryptopunks’ success, Tpunks resides on the Tron blockchain.

The NFT world on the TRON blockchain is all getting created with all the Punks getting minted randomly.  There are attributes defined for each Punk, and some of these punks are very rare. Tpunks claims to be a project which is a homage to cryptopunks and also a hypothesis on how punks on the TRON blockchain can be way cooler than their Boomer OGs.

Previously, Tron Founder Justin Sun bought $10.5 Million worth of NFT Joker Tpunk.  The NFT was called “Joker” because of its appearance and is now part of a Tron-native NFT series Tpunks that seeks to emulate both the style and success of the known Cryptopunks series on the Tron blockchain.  The stunning resemblance to the popular Batman villain being part of the whole Tpunk series makes joker appealing.

The project is now picking up steam.  The price of these NFTs have been spiking high, and some of them were over $800K. Justin Sun is not the first to dive into the NFT space.  Several number of other influencers, actors, and even rappers are getting into the NFT space, and they are taking advantage of this particularly new type of media.

Reportedly, “NFT fever even reached into institutional markets. Visa, the multinational payments giant, purchased a CryptoPunk (#7610) to add to its collection on August 23, calling NFTs a “new era” of collecting.”
