Charlie Lee pointed to how finally Litecoin Card is now integrated into Litewallet. Some of the users were curious to know when the card will be available in Switzerland.
Litewallet in response to the Switzerland query stated, check back in a few weeks once we get the green light. Further stated, you can Buy LTC directly right now.
Someone further asked I made a deposit and still waiting for my card. Does that mean it’s on its way? Litewallet is an extension to your Litecoin Card account and is only in Beta. Contact Litecoin card dot com for more details (which is in full production) and customer support.
There was another user who stated, I ordered my card on January 8th and it says that I should receive it within a week and still haven’t received it.
Yet another concerned user stated, sorry guys, I still can’t log in to my block card using the Litewallet, every time I enter my password the login button turns grey, I’m the same dude in Reddit and via email with Quinn. I look forward to access. And, another user acknowledged of having a similar problem.
Those who are beginning are trying to understand: How do you set up your Litewallet with your Litecoin Card? I have both, but it’s not clear. What are the initial features I can access? I’m not seeing anything in that regards in either account.
The clarification is that this a beta and only supports registration and login (no balance and no transfer). We see a bug we need to address and will send a patch soon.
The card issues are likely to be as they are just starting and probably, these issues will get fixed with time as the back end team works to resolve these issues.
Some users are still trying to understand why LTC has value in 2021. Visa or Paypal will issue their own 2nd layer coins for payment and BTC will remain the store of value. Users were interested in links to solid arguments for why LTC will stay in the top 10.
Some are contemplating on why Bitcoin is a better store of value than Litecoin. Reportedly, open interest on Litecoin futures hit a record $584 million, a signal that institutional investors like Bitwise and Grayscale Investments are interested in the Altcoin. This is just proof that there is not a universal yes or no opinion for any crypto or Altcoins, the reactions and interest are mixed.
