Simply, it provides us with an API to use so we can easily work with the blockchain. Web3 works as a wrapper for JSON RPC to connect to a remote or local Ethereum node with either a HTTP or IPC connection.”
“Decentralized finance, or DeFi, aims to use technology to remove intermediaries between parties in a financial transaction. The components of DeFi are stablecoins, use cases, and a software stack that enables the development of applications. The infrastructure and use cases for DeFi are still in development.”
A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unit of data stored on a digital ledger, called a blockchain, that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable. NFTs can be used to represent items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files.

The Solana Season Hackathon is a competition where the projects are evaluated by judges only based on their technological merits without providing consideration of legal viability. The projects in this hackathon are meant for competition purposes only and not for commercial deployment or release as a part of the hackathon. The projects are purely for evaluation by judges.
About 10,000 builders are now registered for the Solana Season Hackathon. Developers are ready to crush it.
For clarity, Solana is a fast, low-fee, and censorship-resistant blockchain designed to enable builders to quickly deploy and scale applications to billions of users globally.
