Web3 Weekend Hackathon on NFT Hack, Scaling Ethereum (ETH) and more

Hackathons have been influential in terms of bringing a virtual collective of passionate, creative talent and engineers for a weekend of creating anything amazing on Web3.

ETHGlobal tweeted:  “We’re thrilled to announce our next weekend hackathon in partnership with Protocollabs Web3 Weekend, happening May 28 – 30th! If you loved NFTHack, (or if you missed it!), don’t snooze on this one.  Apply today; spots are limited!”

Hackathons connect engineers to build a fair future.  It is not easy to move things to a blockchain.   Creators, engineers, and doers are coming up with new ways to distribute, tokenize, and create the Web3 first world.

The blockchain ecosystem has come a long way from the “proof of concepts” and ideas.  Web3 has a lot of things happening like art, DApps, games, and other things of value moving into Web3.

Those who are looking to explore a new concept to create the next billion-dollar protocol will like the Web3 Weekend at the ETHGlobal Hackathon.

The Hackathon is focused on building on the success of ETHOnline, NFTHack, Scaling Ethereum, HackMoney, and dozen other events to deliver a hackathon and summit to further celebrate this moment in blockchain history.

At Web3 Weekend, participants will have the support of an entire ecosystem to create a new fair future. The hackathon is about building something really awesome.

The Web3 Weekend is 100% free for all attendees. All that is asked of attendees is to focus on building the project in the hackathon.  Participants will become a part of the community of creators who are aligned around a vision geared towards a better-decentralized internet.

Attendees will be introduced to teammates, connect with mentors, unblock technical problems, and help deliver a working project which will push the web3 ecosystem forward. About $25k+ is available in various prizes.  The sponsors of this event are Protocol Labs, Ethereum Foundation, and Audius.

Even those who are new to Ethereum, NFTs, DApps, or everything will be able to participate.  The teams are open to both beginners and veterans of the web3 world. To be a part of the hackathon, it is not necessary for everyone to know how to code.  The hackathon encourages creatives, designers, musicians, and people of every skills and backgrounds to be able to join. There is a code of conduct protocol for participants, which will give attendees an idea of how they will have to behave during the hackathon. “
