The Solana Ecosystem Directory is exciting as the ecosystem grows in leaps and bounds. There are so many projects in the ecosystem to the extent that the Solana Ecosystem Page, which has been maintained by Solana Labs has been able to keep with.
Solana Labs are functioning in the spirit of community led decentralized initiatives. A “re-designed Solana ecosystem directory” from Solana Labs is making this more organized for Solana ecosystem participants. This directory section is a new part of Solana.com. It will allow people to be able to list their own projects and identify what others might not have heard of and this, users will also be able to vote for their favorite projects.
This directory is a positive shift and is expected to serve as a launchpad for Solana Users.
Josh Taylor, design lead at Solana Labs expressed, “We hope this will be a great launchpad for Solana users, People coming from other chains, and even those who are new to crypto to find new and exciting projects.”
At Solana, the doors are open for anyone to submit a project. All they are trying to do is to ensure that the Solana Ecosystem continues to be a safe environment.
Solana Labs will be focused on filtering out bad actors. They are also work with the ecosystem to come up with community-led solutions in the coming months. Users will be able to vote for their favorite projects in the ecosystem.
Worth noting, “If you don’t see your favorite project, it might not be submitted yet! Encourage the creators to add it — or even add it yourself — by following the instructions a little further down.”

Community Reaction: Rushed through so quickly that security breeches and flaws are exposed daily. Most of these projects will wise up and move to a superior ecosystem like Cardano or Polygon pretty soon.
