Can you confirm what the TVL is on AVAX? Seems to be some different numbers floating around. Can you confirm TVL on anything in crypto priced in USD terms? it seems to be dropping for the last 18 hrs or so.
Can any centralised actor change the hard cap, theoretically?
Emin Gun Sirer: No. Avalanche TVL crossed the $10B line. Very proud that an Avalanche native DEX is in the top 5 by volume, and the other 4 DEXes are all on ETH.
Oops, I don’t know how I overlooked Pancake, possibly because I was hung up on how 3 out of the top 5 are Uniswap, but I stand corrected, Pancake is indeed on BSC.
In other news, AVAX is a hard capped asset, as is BTC.

Yes, but it’s a false sense of serenity. I could cap it to near infinity and have massive emission: It’s still capped but it’s going to dilute as much as the dollar. At least the Bitcoin emission isn’t this bad compared to Avalanche.

Why would I sell BTC for AVAX? Because it’s exponentially better in every way. Bitcoin is the invention of absolute scarcity. It stands in line with invention of electricity, internet. I mean, you put AVAX in the same category? Does Emin Gun Sirer deserve to have a statue as Satoshi, and get referred to as a Nobel price winner?
