I think many like the idea of Ethereum. They hold but they don’t interact much with NFTs, DeFi, Games, etc.
The high gas fees has their benefits: By high fees there are more ppl who plays for long term. Different to BSC or AVAX cheap fees and people plays holding till 2x.
Yes, something is crazy the gas fees, but is where the big bags are and 2/3 of innovative projects they were born in ETH, it’s like JavaScript for web. It’s not the best language but it’s the easier and mainstream.
Spot on. They probably just buy ETH on Coinbase and don’t move it around on-chain.

Oh the pain of the ETH gas fee. You know what’s worse though? Not buying because of a gas fee and missing out on a 10,20, or 50x lol that’s why I just pay the fees and load up big!
We know that ETH is going to have so much built on top of it, and the gas fees will improve, so it will keep increasing in value over time.
I still will never get why so many like XRP and ADA. It’s amazing honestly.

ETH is turning around and is not suitable for selling right now.
There are two types of people in this world – those that sold ETH above 4k and those that will sell below 2200 dollars. If it’s below the cloud and the 200 look out below.
Because the narrative that “Ethereum actually does something unlike Bitcoin” is pretty strong right now and will continue getting strong.

I am very optimistic about ETH, I think it is very good, it is worth buying and waiting for appreciation.
But with the continuous improvement of ETH, reducing gas fees and reducing channel congestion, don’t you think its price will rise?
Ethereum gas fees are too expensive and unsustainable. Fact, I do not look at any new project, i.e. researching until I see which platform they have built their product on. If Eth, (no matter how good of a product is mentioned) I instantly ignore it. ETH will destroy itself!
Brother that’s how I know you’re not paying attention or you’re a hater. Do some research into ETH‘s roll-up centric future and the L1 scalability possible on ETH 2.0. (By the way high gas means high demand.)
I’m not a hater. I think logically with my money. It needs to work for me. The average tom is deterred from doing such TX’s because of the so-called “high demand” fees that you’re implying. ETH is already losing potentially new, and old projects because of the scary TX fees.
ETH L1 will be used for large transactions by whales and institutions. ETH L2’s will offer rapid transactions with almost no fee.
I hear you, but every time I mention ETH to my crypto friends, most cringe. I assure you we are not haters. We’re very open to the use case of many good projects. All I’ll say is you better hope L2 isn’t delayed further. ETH is leaving a sour taste with new investors.
Maybe the ETH community and developers have not communicated to the public well enough then. L2 isn’t delayed. ETH 2.0 has been delayed, but EIP-1559 has started the burn and soon ETH will be deflationary too.
Sushiswap has minimal fees? Have you used it lately? No that’s why I said iirc. I know Uniswap on polygon has no fees and I thought I heard the same about sushi but obviously I am mistaken.
Yes because its 2nd biggest crypto coin. These are type of folks that use Coinbase basic to “trade” and never heard of DEXes and have no idea about the fees :))) the hype is real.
Next time make sure to tell them how Gas fees are calculated on Ethereum.
ETH is the best token and the best smart contract platform. As the upgrade date approaches, the performance of ETH will get better and better. 2022 is definitely the era of ETH, and it will be the best dark horse in 2022.
