The people who call SHIB a Meme Coin have not actually looked or read anything other than what media tells them. They’re poorly informed traders.
SHIB has utility and future plans and real currency potential unlike “musky tokens” which do not have utility mechanism and it relies on one tweet: SHIB all the way.
The growth of SHIB is awesome and it has worldwide users and so many holders. It is going crazy already. SHIB Army has taken SHIBA to the top 20 crypto currencies.
Not a meme coin, the actual use case is amazing. Holding strong and long.
Not to miss one important point. Meme coins: Ignored by centralized exchanges. SHIBA: Acknowledged by Centralized Exchanges, and they even tried to suppress its growth (they couldn’t) in some cases.
For many it’s a meme coin as it’s dog money, but there’s nothing wrong about it. Every serious space needs some fun too. And, the utility is given. SHIB to the moon.
The reality is that SHIB was never a meme coin period. Since inception developers worked on having a place where, you can swap and gain liquidity and provide liquidity.
ShibaSwap being a decentralized exchange (DEX) hosts some well-known dog-related ‘meme coins.’ The activities in the exchange are powered by SHIB token and LEASH. SHIB is more than a short-span craze. The DEX stands in the top 25 of DEXes in terms of traded volume.
Several online shopping platforms accept SHIB. Holders will be able to use their SHIB at Amazon, eBay, and big-box retailer Walmart. Thus, strengthening it as a payment coin.
More companies are beginning to accept SHIB and this seems to predominantly demonstrate that it shows “real world” use as it continues to grow.
Looking at SHIB as just a meme coin is not a right estimate. While originally the coin was not meaningful, with addition of use cases, it is becoming meaningful than before.
The reality is that any cryptocurrency with a reasonable use case will find its place in the cryptocurrency space. SHIB is beginning to establish its use case.
