Capitol Hill is the seat of the U.S. government, home to the domed United States Capitol, Senate, Houses of Representatives and the neoclassical Supreme Court.  It’s also known for the redbrick Eastern Market, where vendors sell produce, meat and cheese throughout the week, and handicrafts and antiques on weekends. Barracks Row is lined with an eclectic mix of bakeries, pizzerias and global eateries.

The resolution text reads thus: “The Architect of the Capitol, the Secretary of the Senate, and the Chief Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives shall each … solicit and enter into contracts to provide food service and vending machines in such Capitol Buildings with persons that will accept digital assets as payment for goods.” Further stated, “Encourage the gift shops in such Capitol Buildings to accept digital assets as payment for goods.”

The United States Congress is the legislature of the federal government of the United States. It is bicameral, comprising a lower body, the House of Representatives, and an upper body, the Senate. The Congress meets in the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C.

A senator is a person who works in the government. In the United States, senators are elected by voters to represent them in a state or federal senate. Each state in the US elects two senators who serve six-year terms in Washington, DC, where they pass laws and vote on policies.

Senator Ted Cruz believes that the Congress will be able to lead in the area of cryptocurrencies by adopting them as payment leading to increasing crypto awareness in the Congress.

A bill can be introduced in either chamber of Congress by a senator or representative who sponsors it. Once a bill is introduced, it is assigned to a committee whose members will research, discuss, and make changes to the bill.

The Office of Senate Printing and Document Services provides copies of congressional publications, including bills, resolutions, conference reports, executive reports, public laws, treaties, senate documents and the current Senate committee assignments. Those who want a copy of the bill might want to check with them.
