Will there be Fines Jails and guns for Privacy Coins like Monero (XMR) Dash and Others

Someone said, the real test will come when governments or state-sponsored organizations turn their resources (fines, jail and guns) against privacy coins.

The 6 most private cryptocurrencies/privacy coins are:Monero, Zcash, Dash, Horizen, Verge, Beam and The Bottom Line.

The best-known cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ether, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and others are public as their transactions are completely transparent according to those who are trying to make laws which ban cryptocurrencies.

Now, governments have all reasons to not like privacy cryptocurrencies.

Will there be a ban on all cryptocurrencies? Probably not.  In countries like India in the past, when the central bank — the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tried to put a stop to all cryptocurrency trading in the country, the Supreme Court overruled their attempts.

However, rumours have cropped up as the government is likely to introduce a cryptocurrency bill during the forth coming winter session of the Indian Parliament where it is expected to announce regulatory frameworks for digital currencies (CBDCs), which have been issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2021, is listed for introduction in the Lok Sabha in the winter session, scheduled to begin on November 29, as per The Week.

Reportedly the Loksabha bill seeks to “create a facilitative framework for the creation of the official digital currency to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India. It also seeks to prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India; however, it allows for certain exceptions to promote the underlying technology of cryptocurrency and its uses.”

Nam Sardar Expressed:  The crypto world can broadly be divided into 2: Speculative crypto, which includes every coin out there Monero digital decentralized freedom preserving money.

Alec Larson: Probably going be illegal to use non-taxable cryptocurrency in the near future. Would Monero survive that legislation?

Nam Sardar:  In which country?

Alec Larson:  Presumably any country that wants to both secure its tax revenue and hinder cryptocurrencies’ rise. Not knowledgeable enough about the world’s governments to know which countries exactly or in what order.  Still, I’m curious how you or anyone else would answer my question.

Nam Sardar:  Expect more countries to become crypto-friendly to attract crypto-capitalists.

Alec Larson:  Okay but having Monero become illegal in the largest nations in terms of crypto enthusiasts would likely tank the price. Nonetheless, your point stands. Monero would survive in crypto-friendly countries, and hopefully those will grow into superpowers in due time.

Nam Sardar:  Not familiar with any place w a Monero-only ban. Bans tend to be for crypto (which are usually temporary until these countries realize it is technological suicide for that country). But I understand your concern. For now, they’re fighting Monero thru bad press and delistings.

Will other countries follow suit?
