Bitcoin traded at approximately $76,100 on Saturday morning, up 0.6% on the day, after falling 5.2% in the previous 24 hours. The stabilization follows a sharp decline on Friday, which was driven by tech-stock selling and concerns regarding AI spending and data-center buildouts.

ETF Flows Remain Negative

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $411.9 million in net outflows on Friday, marking the second consecutive session of withdrawals. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for roughly $403 million of these redemptions. In contrast, Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $42.8 million in inflows during the same period.

Net withdrawals for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached approximately $1.28 billion in November through Friday. Wednesday was the only session this month to close with positive flows. This stands in contrast to late September, when spot Bitcoin ETFs had erased their 2026 deficit and annual flows had flipped positive.

Leverage Liquidations and Regulatory Moves

More than $1.27 billion in crypto positions were liquidated over 24 hours on Friday, with bullish bets constituting over $1.1 billion of that total. CryptoQuant noted that Bitcoin’s unrealized profit had reached a 21-month high at the start of October, a metric often associated with subsequent profit-taking.

Regulatory pressures also intensified during the week. The U.S. Treasury moved to cut off crypto exchange MEXC from American financial institutions, alleging the platform handled at least $16 billion in suspicious transactions linked to sanctions evasion between 2021 and 2026. In Europe, Greece approved a new tax regime for digital assets, setting a 10% tax rate on gains above an annual €500 threshold and a 15% levy on staking, lending, and DeFi income starting January 2027.

Binance and founder Changpeng Zhao are seeking records from Kevin O’Leary and Michael Lewis in a $1.76 billion recovery dispute related to FTX. Additionally, Bitcoin Core developer Cory Fields proposed a conceptual mechanism requiring quantum attackers to post BTC as collateral, a measure that would depend on the implementation of quantum-resistant wallets.

Price Levels and Altcoin Performance

Technically, $73,000 remains the key support level, situated close to the daily 300-day moving average. Bulls must reclaim $78,500 to target the $80,000 recovery marker, with the $80,000–$82,000 zone identified as major resistance for a stronger recovery.

Altcoins showed mixed performance on Saturday. Ethereum rose 0.95% to $2,247.99, while XRP slipped 0.82% to $1.1782. Solana gained 0.71% to $90.22, BNB added 0.48% to $695.23, and Cardano rose 0.65% to $0.1846. Dogecoin dipped 0.31%, Shiba Inu fell 1.53%, and TRUMP traded flat.
