Do you Believe that Bitcoin is now in a Bear Market

Lark Davis Interrogated: Do you believe that bitcoin is now in a bear market?

Community Response: If any more whales were to sell off their bitcoin they stand to lose. Why would they sell? I am fairly new and trying to understand why when bitcoin falls all other coins fall with it. Enlighten me please? Because so many coins are paired with Bitcoin, that is why when bitcoin fall all other falls. It is like a chain which are connected.

Because, they likely bought in a lot lower and are still massively in profit. If the market looks like it’s going to turn bearish, then it’s time to take those profits. If it looked bullish, you would continue to ride on up and sell on the way up.

A lot of people will buy bitcoins at the lowest price possible if they can. So, they dump. And then buy back lower as they know it goes up again.

All altcoins are linked to the bullishness of Bitcoin, and Bitcoin continues to fall, and altcoins will face a crash. The market is saturated and frothy and needs to be digested.

Bitcoin has been pulled down again. In this floating price war, how can we guarantee our interests? Algos/bots are doing the buying/selling and follow whatever Bitcoin is doing. If people start selling Bitcoin, bots will be selling off Alts.  Simple. Bitcoin is the king when the mother ship falls everyone else wants out.

Now? Mate, Bitcoin Bear Market began in May 2021. What are you smoking?

If so, we should have had our alt season in July. Bitcoin tops out and rotation to FOMO alts. Always the case.  But we had a new all-time high after may LMAO.

Yeah, people don’t know what a bear market is apparently. Need lower highs and lower lows. We are getting close.  Market makers make both bears and bulls.

You should be a comedian, you call from $29k to $69k then crash to $46k a bear market? You must have bought at the top.

You mean when it went from 28k to make a new all-time high? Wow. You’re a moron.

You can’t call it a bear market from May when BTC went from 29k to 69k, definitely feels like one now though. The well expected price explosion for the end of the year just hasn’t materialised though.

Of course not, anyone looking at on chain or off chain indicators would know the bull market structure is still intact, at least the probability of that being the case is still very high.

No more 4-year cycle. The market dynamics and participants are different. As yields drift lower, risk-off continues, bitcoin will go lower. Under 40K maybe even under 30K before 100K. I’m still HODLing will add as the price drifts lower.

How? You can’t just make claims that make no sense.  What doesn’t make sense? How do you think MM Hedge exposure that provides liquidity? Not in the Bitcoin MM, but I’m in that business.

Yes. Unless it goes up then bull market confirmed.  Probably. But I am always investing every month, because I believe in the long-term value to society as a whole.  Do anyone actually know what the definition of bear market is? Crypto?

I think this is market manipulation and as far as I know many investors are aware of Wednesday’s FOMC meeting.  The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) consists of twelve members–the seven members of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System? Is this what you mean? But Crypto is a decentralized market, which means nobody has control of it.

Bear market is when red line gets on top of the yellow line, and yellow gets on top of blue line & then when trend looks like a spaghetti Downhill. Also, if the guy who works for the grocery that never went to school said so that confirms the bear market.

Finance and investing aren’t science. The characterizations commonly used in the press and amongst professionals are jargon that is useful because it is imprecise. It’s all opinions and narrative. If you want to talk about math, data and objective proof, find an accountant.
