Dan Held Expressed: Mainstream economists don’t like Bitcoin because it can’t be manipulated. Let that sink in.

Community Response:  The monetary policy can’t be manipulated.

Do you believe in the finishing returns and lengthening cycle theory?  Diminishing returns.

Definitely diminishing returns, and looks like the cycle is indeed lengthening.

But Dan. You write the super cycle theory. How lengthening cycle is compatible vs super cycle?  Glad you specified. At first I was like, have you seen what’s going on with price action lately, because it certainly looks like there’s some manipulation at play.

We’re going to manipulate it. Crypto is here to stay.

Fed or governments can sell short, all day long from accounts from all over the world. It is so thinly traded. Gold and silver have been manipulated forever.

Perhaps they mean “managed” which would imply only the best of intentions.

Yeah, you need to that REAL QUICK. All Bitcoin is manipulated by the wealthy to screw over the everyday person.

The Fed’s policy of raising interest rates has a significant indirect impact on the currency.

The day they listed it on the future exchanges was the day they started manipulating it. ETFs is another way they can control the price. Bitcoin would have been at 100k already, if it was not trade on futures market. Weekends we used to get the best runs not anymore. I wonder why.

Nope. This FUD existed in 2017 as well.  Bitcoin price is manipulated however by the large whales to their advantage.

What do you mean by manipulated? Those owning large amounts definitely manipulate.

Bitcoin’s price isn’t manipulated? Probably, just the lunar cycle causing an ebb and flow on Sunday evening each week.

He is very specific – he says Monterey policy can’t be manipulated. Price on centralized exchanges can be manipulated in the short-term, but that doesn’t actually mean anything except for day traders!

Which are institutions manipulating the price. I do not know a whole lot of people who day trade bitcoin.

Nothing like what exists in stock markets, exist in Bitcoin. No one can print it, no one can take it from you, no insiders information, no one can change anything. The monetary policy is hard and fixed and know 100 years in the future.
