Micheal Saylor Back from Miami on Bitcoin (BTC) DeFi Jack Dorsey and Marc Andreessen

Back from Miami Bitcoin Conference 2022 Michael Saylor to Fox News:  I have never seen so much passion with politicians from all over the world getting interested, with sports figures, we say capitalists from every industry showing up for the first time. We saw great intellectual leaders, and corporate figures.  So, obviously, it is twice as much energy as last year. And, what it is saying is that everybody in the world now know they need a solution to their problem and Bitcoin is a solution.

I don’t know if I trust the government, I don’t trust the currency, I don’t trust the banks, I don’t have a savings account, I have got no checking account, the payment systems don’t work anymore, everything is broken. And, the entire crypto economy offers a solution to the problem. And, so everybody is looking forward to improve their life with technology.

I am reading about the Cryto Holy War where they are saying Jack Dorsey is the Bitcoin Maximalist, where Marc Andreessen is the cryptopolymorist – Is there some sort of crypto play beyond Bitcoin? Do the other coins out there have any sort of value or potential?

You know Jack and Marc both love Bitcoin and they are both enthusiastic about crypto technology.  The difference is Marc is a venture capitalist, he wants to take more risk on Protocols and tokens and of course that is his job.  He takes risks for a living.

Jack is focused on the millions of unbanked and he is for the low-risk path forward Bitcoin. I think ultimately they will settle their differences and come together in order to make a better world, because technology is the solution to our problems.

Defi Revolution? Who is pushing these sort of Oracles? If you look at the millennials and if you are below the age of 40 and you look in to the world saying – this is so hopeless.  I got to savings account, I got no chance of catching up with inflation and I will never be able to buy a house.  Everything is broken. And they see a solution in the new crypto economy.  So, they are enthusiastic.

And, of course the critics and skeptics and intellectuals will over intellectualize this and worry about every way that it can break and I guess that is their role and the regulators worry as well.  Ultimately, I think that we will work out all of these issues. And, people need a solution to their problems of how do they save their money and how do they move their money. And, that is why there is such incredible enthusiasm for Bitcoin and all these crypto technologies.
