Otherwise, to appreciate the community spirit of Avalanche it is worth recollecting the “Avalanche House at Lisbon Blockchain Week 2021.” Reportedly, it was incredible–with more than 2k attendees across 4 days. The vision for the event was to create an inclusive event for users, builders, or enthusiasts contributing to Web3.
From co-working to panels to networking, Avalanche House hosted it all.
The community spirit is seen in the way they catch up with all of the panels and interviews from the Avalanche house. There is also a growing enthusiasm about DeFi. DeFi has grown to $260B total value locked (TVL) across all smart contract blockchains. The community and several influential members are contemplating on what else can DeFi learn from traditional finance to continue to grow TVL on-chain?
A lot of productive discussions are going on ranging from: To accelerate progress for mainstream use of DeFi, interoperability is key. What is the current state of blockchain bridges? What works? What doesn’t?
